Chris Medellin built a lending business inside loanDepot, one of the most recognizable institutional brands in mortgage. The challenge for his personal brand was specific: build something that feels unmistakably his without losing the institutional credibility that comes with the loanDepot name.

We designed his identity to read as a natural extension, not a separate brand. Black and electric green carry the loanDepot energy directly, anchoring Chris to the institution his clients trust. The wordmark gets a bold geometric treatment that mirrors loanDepot's athletic confidence while standing on its own. A stylized C monogram works as a quick signature across signage, stationery, and digital, instantly recognizable in any size.

Chris's secondary brand, Breakthrough Podcast, lives in the same visual universe but has the room to operate as its own media property. Same palette, same energy, with a kinetic wordmark and editorial layouts built for episode covers, social cuts, and on-air branding.

The two identities work together. Chris's personal brand carries the credibility of his role at loanDepot. Breakthrough Podcast extends his voice into a content vehicle that doesn't dilute the lending business. Two assets, one strategic ecosystem, both built to perform.
